All UW–Madison postdocs are eligible for individual appointments with Dr. Alyssa Leystra, the Associate Director for Skills Development. Alyssa holds a PhD in Cancer Biology and has over five years of experience supporting the personal and professional skills development of early career researchers.

Book time to have a one-on-one meeting with Alyssa to:

• Develop your training goals and timeline.
• Discuss resources to develop specific skills, including but not limited to:
  • Grant writing
  • Presenting your research
  • Leading research projects and groups
  • Mentoring other researchers
  • Teaching

Individual advising appointments can be scheduled either online or in person in Health Sciences Learning Center in 1210A.
